Speedpaint and Paintover

This one was interesting... From bottom to top: initial sketch, speedpaint, paintover. I did a lot of painting then shrinking then painting then shrinking, and the result was my initial sketch becoming a small window within a larger composition...a fun way to organically put some perspective in, without construction lines and whatnot. This wasn't for any project, I just wanted to play around with ideas.

Time runs thin this time of year in the realm of advertising, so for now, this is all I can muster of my personal painting life. It's nice to caricature yourself now and then; this was the break I'd been needing from all the madness.

Theme was ZOMBIE PINUP this week. Didn't really feel like drawing a zombie pinup, so I pinned up a zombie. Hopefully I can find time to finish this thing! Done or not, it's Thursday, so here you go!
